Oh, hey!
Hey y'all and welcome! My name is Kaitlyn, but you can call me Kait! I can be found in a baggy sweatshirt, working on my laptop with a candle lit nearby while I try to hustle my heart out for this passion of mine!

I found myself filling my phones storage with photos until I received my first camera as a gift and the rest was sweet, photo history. I started taking photos in nature, but found my true passion in portraits and lifestyle sessions. I am a lover of natural light, bright and bold photos.

If you would have told me a few years ago that I would end up becoming a photographer, I would have laughed; because I only saw it as my creative outlet. I was set on becoming a veterinarian and going into medicine. Little did I know, once I got my first camera I really discovered my joy in taking photographs people appreciated and cherished.

IF YOU TOLD ME I WOULD END UP BECOMING A PHOTOGRAPHER, I WOULD HAVE LAUGHED.
Along with photography, I enjoy eating, hiking, interior decorating, growing indoor plants & veterinary medicine. I love all things antique, southern, and sparkly! I am a recent college graduate with a cell and molecular biology degree from Appalachian State University. I also studied 3 years at East Carolina. Go Neers and Pirates! I have two fur babies named Boone and Clyde, who are my full-time models. I am currently located in Bear Creek, North Carolina with my amazing husband and our newborn.

KnD? What's the meaning behind that? I started my business in dedication of my brother, David, who always supported me and loved my photos. We were always a sibling team, so KnD, like K & D, just made perfect sense. I like to think he's smiling down knowing that he gets half the credit! That's why my mission is to always capture photos for you to have the memory of a "moment otherwise gone."

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me, I'd love to hear from you!
